- We were in Denver for an especially sad occasion. MJ Boone had died the prior week and we had attended the funeral the day before. We were staying in town for some meetings the following day, so on Sunday afternoon, we decided to drive to Westminster and go through the Butterfly Pavilion.
- The delightful Butterfly Pavilion is located just outside of downtown Denver, Colorado and is the first nonprofit butterfly and insect center in the country.
- The Butterfly Pavilion’s 30,000 square foot facility is home to caterpillars, butterflies and insects from as far away as Kenya and Malaysia.
- The pavilion’s indoor tropical habitat has more than 1,200 butterflies of various species that feast on nectar and fly freely.
